Here’s How Our Tech Helps The Work You Do
Have you had 50 people on a wanted list and wondered how to find them?
Would you like automated alerts that let you know that someone on your wanted list has been arrested somewhere?
Have you had 25 volunteers turn up to find a missing child, but didn’t know how to background check them in seconds, from your phone, to ensure none is a sex offender?
Have you ever been undercover, seen something suspicious, and needed to run an unknown face then and there?
Could having the tools to look at multi-jurisdiction arrest data in one place in seconds help you? If you’ve answered yes to any of these, welcome to Biometrica.
We’re a tech and data company established in 1998. We’ve worked with and supported law enforcement & other agencies for 20+ years, partnered with the National Criminal Justice Training Center (NCJTC) at Missing & Unidentified Persons Conferences (MUPC), and agencies like ICMEC in its mission to help find missing & exploited children. We also work with more than 200 casino surveillance rooms & state gaming commissions to protect people and assets and are one of 4 organizations that are part of the Global Missing Children’s Network Engine.
We’ve now built two systems we think can help law enforcement protect themselves and their communities & investigate in real-time.
Meet UMbRA
UMbRA is Biometrica's national arrest database, currently at more than 6.9 million records (and counting), 100% sourced from different law enforcement jurisdictions in real-time. The database keeps expanding as more individuals are arrested every day and more counties are brought into the system. You, as law enforcement, can run manual (text) or facial recognition searches in UMbRA in under 30 seconds, including from your cellphone. It’s all encrypted & maintains digital chain of custody.
Note: UMbRA is available free to use for Law Enforcement Agencies.

Meet eMotive
eMotive is an end-to-end encrypted continuous monitoring software. It allows you to create a
fully encrypted smaller dataset or datasets of individuals you’re on the lookout for and run
those datasets against UMbRA (our NatCrime database) on a 24x7 basis. You’ll be automatically
notified if someone on your list of individuals is potentially arrested elsewhere.
Help Us Help You
- 24x7 monitoring of someone on your list: Persons of interest in cold cases, wanted lists, sex offenders, missing persons, traffickers.
- Comparisons against a 100% law enforcement-verified multi-jurisdictional arrest database.
- Updated as soon as law enforcement updates data.
- Searches against text and facial recognition.
- Notifications through end-to-end encrypted alerts.
- An audit trail to maintain legally viable digital chain of custody.
Use the systems to prove innocence, access multi-state criminal history from the field, keep track of persons of interest, find people wanted in connection with an investigation or a missing child, get alerts on cold case suspects or missing adults, help protect your officers when they walk into an unknown situation, secure your communities.
